Victorian Schools Gain Access to New Education Web Portal Media Release, The Hon. Bronwyn Pike, MLA, 16 February 2010 The Victorian Minister for Education, Ms Bronwyn Pike, and the Australian Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Mr Stephen Conroy, have launched a new education website portal. The Find, Use, Share Education (FUSE) Portal will enable Victorian students to access educational content from organisations such as Museum Victoria, the State Library of Victoria, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and Zoos Victoria. FUSE enables all independent, government and Catholic school students to access a range of educational resources, from subject-based articles to websites. Ms Pike stated that the FUSE Portal would ‘give Victorian schools unprecedented access to interactive, safe, high quality digital content’ in a single location.
